Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our website. HalftimeOS keeps cookie use to a minimum: we use exactly one cookie, and it exists only to keep you signed in.

2. The Cookie We Use

Session cookie (halftime.sid): a strictly necessary cookie that identifies your signed-in session so you don't have to sign in again on every page. It is set only when you sign in to the HalftimeOS application, and it is deleted when you log out or when your session expires.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, targeting cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, an advertising pixel, or any social-media tracking script on this site. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

3. Third-Party Cookies

HalftimeOS does not set or permit any third-party cookies on this website. The marketing site (halftimeos.com) sets no cookies at all; the application (the signed-in product) sets only the session cookie described above.

4. How to Control Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through your browser settings. You can typically find cookie controls in the "Options" or "Preferences" menu of your browser, where you can delete cookies or block them from being set.

Because our only cookie is required to keep you signed in, blocking it will prevent you from staying logged in to the HalftimeOS application. It has no effect on browsing the public marketing site.

5. Data Retention

The session cookie is retained only for the duration of your signed-in session and is removed when you log out, close your browser, or after a period of inactivity, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
